RISE UP INDIA is dedicated to helping children living in impoverished settings by providing education and other aid with the goal of stopping and preventing child exploitation.

Thank you for considering donating to RISE UP INDIA. RISE UP is a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Service, your cash contributions may be tax deductible (depending on your tax situation). Unless you specify otherwise, all of your contribution will go directly towards operating or constructing the three schools around Bakrour Village or for caring for orphans living at the school.
Fundraising operations and expenses are covered by sponsorships and donations from local businesses and from the time and sweat of local volunteers. Not from your cash contribution. Travel expenses for volunteers to India including air travel, accommodation, food, health expenses, etc. are paid for by out of pocket by volunteers (ouch). Not from your cash contribution. Overhead and operating expenses for the India program of RISE UP are absorbed by volunteers. Not by your cash contribution. Money goes a long way in India. Your generous contribution will make a direct difference in a child’s life. Be assured you will get good value from your contribution. We know, we’ve been there.

LAPTOP DONATION – We are looking for a few quality laptop computers to take to India and give to the school. So If you’ve upgraded and the old machine is collecting dust maybe you’d like to donate it.
